This is a super awesome mead aged with local organic limes from Manifest Kombucha as well as adding our very own homegrown chillies.
It’s not THAT hot, it’s just the perfect mild kick with excellent chilli notes. I wanted everyone to be able to tolerate it. Though the flavour of the chilli certainly comes through, balancing perfectly with the honey and lime. The Chilli Lime is best served straight over ice or even with a
tiny dash of lemonade.
We release this Award Winning SMALL BATCH mead every summer as it’s a super refreshing drink, perfect for hot days. Have it chilled
over ice or even mix with soda water. It even makes an awesome Chilli Meadarita.
This just won a Silver Medal at the Australian National Mead Competition, the judge’s note was:
“Looks great. Nice expression of honey, lime & chilli. Good balance”
And they were spot on. You’ll get the sweetness of the honey, bitterness of the lime and a good little chilli kick from our homegrown organic birdseye chillies, without being too spicy.
100% of the ingredients are local to the Crows Nest region in Queensland. Our own chillies of course, spray-free limes from Manifest Kombucha, local bush honey and filtered rain water.
